AVS Shock sensor
A shock sensor picks up an impact to the body of the vehicle, such as someone hitting a door panel. There are two types of shock sensors: The AVS single zone, or single stage shock sensor, triggers a full alarm if an impact is detected to the vehicle. The AVS dual zone, or dual stage shock sensor, gives a warning if a light impact is detected by your AVS car alarm, and triggers the full alarm if a heavy impact is detected. Check out the You Tube video for an example of both types of shock sensor. Many AVS car alarm models (such as the AVS S5 and AVS 3010+) include a shock sensor as standard. It can be added to any AVS car alarm as well. This sensor is included with some AVS alarms as standard or it can be added as an optional upgrade to any AVS alarm.
