The Digital Designs DD-CXS6x9 CXS Series 6×9’s are one of the most amazing sounding mid-range 6×9 speakers I have ever heard. The sound that comes out of these speakers are just as crystal clear as the DD-CS6.5’s but have a touch more bottom end, so much bottom end that the first comparator board we put them in had slight flex in the back panel!

I have found the DD-CXS6x9’s to be a good compliment for the DD-CS6.5’s or DD-CXS-6.5’s if you want that extra depth in your music without the need of a sub-woofer, or even if you want the kicks coming from your doors instead of your sub-woofer with a good adjustment of your HPF/LPF’s.
Overall I’d say the DD-CXS6x9’s are the best sounding 6×9’s in its price bracket and proves that you can have a nice clean sound with good lows at a reasonable price.
