Customer feedback of our new Test Enclosure for a DD812

So a couple of months ago I was contacted by Mr Burrell, who asked me to come in and have a chat with him. I felt like I had been sent to the principal’s office at school.

Ashley and I talked about our history of audio for a good 20 minutes, until he asked me about my Digital Designs Redline 712, which I ran for about 4 months before moving and sadly having to give it up. Because I was such a fan of the 712 as it was my first above average subwoofer and the clean, clear quality of it was beyond what I had heard before, he twisted my arm into getting one of the 812’s.

With a ground pounder box being built as we spoke, this was the perfect time to get it. So after a quick clean up of the trunk, the 812 and box was ready to be installed, within minutes we had it wired up and ready to go. A bit of tuning here and there, and yet again I am just astounded by the clean, powerful bass these subs provide!

So now I am on the way to running this subwoofer in and I am excited to see what this is capable of! I listen to a wide range of music; from rock and metal to hip hop and rap, so this sub will be able to get tested on all different kinds of music.

For people with entry level gear looking to upgrade without breaking the piggy bank, this is definitely your next step forward! You will not believe the musical capabilities of this subwoofer, and it’s ability to get loud at the same time!
