A master-tuned, elegantly designed SACD / CD player with integrated digital sources.
The complete digital music player
SACD 30n is built to meet all the requirements of the modern audiophile who wants to combine a large digital music collection with the leading online music services.
The most musical, accurate, detailed sound
SACD 30n is built on its own discrete circuit board, the Hyper-Dynamic Amplifier Module, or HDAM. By custom-curating hundreds of individual parts, rather than adopting an off-the-shelf solution, Marantz HDAM technology significantly outperforms standard integrated circuits to create the unique musicality you always expect from Marantz.
Exquisite sound tuning
SACD 30n continues the renowned heritage of exquisite Marantz components. The SACD 30n is tuned by the Marantz Sound Master, who channelled his passion, experience, and extraordinary ear into every aspect of its unsurpassed design.
Transport Mechanism: A history of excellence
Marantz launched its first CD player – the original CD-63 – in 1982. We have continued to innovate ever since. At the heart of the SACD 30n is a new, innovative SACDM-3L transport mechanism, engineered solely for the best possible performance when playing SA-CDs, CDs, and music stored on data discs. This new mechanism promises exceptional sound quality from conventional CD and SACD discs and allows listeners to create their own high-resolution audio compilation discs using a computer DVD burner. While the SACD/CD source is not being used, the power supply for the disc drive is turned off to avoid noise or interference.
Legacy system connectivity
SACD 30n integrates the Marantz Musical Mastering digital-to-analog converter. The optical and coaxial digital inputs for existing source components support files up to 192kHz/24bit. The SACD 30n also comes with a USB-B asynchronous input for direct connection to a computer. The USB-B input is compatible with PCM and DXD music files at up to 384kHz/32bit, as well as DSD2.8MHz, DSD5.6MHz and DSD11.2MHz.
More than 65 years of audiophile heritage
Founded in 1953, Marantz has a long and rich history of designing audio components embraced by music lovers and critical listeners around the world.
Independent variable output terminal
SACD 30n provides a separate low noise variable level connection output to active speakers, or a power amplifier direct input, letting you use it as a multi-source digital player/pre-amplifier. Volume can be controlled from the remote handset or via apps. When not in use, the preamp power supply is turned off to avoid any noise or interference.
