For turbo vehicles the AVS A4 includes seamless turbo timer integration<\/strong> allowing you to arm the car alarm while the car is still running on the turbo timer. This can be done using the alarm\u2019s own on board turbo timer (so you don\u2019t need to buy a separate timer) or the car alarm will happily work with an external timer. We\u2019ve found the AVS turbo timer functionality works seriously well. Plus it\u2019s installed at no additional cost.<\/p>\n

More and more car models now include a factory key<\/strong> that locks and unlocks the doors. Rather than adding another remote to your keyring the AVS A4 can instead be controlled by the factory key. The alarm will arm and disarm when you lock and unlock the doors with factory key. The alarm will also disarm when the boot release button is pushed on most cars. And again, no extra cost to you for a great feature.<\/p>\n

(As an aside \u2026 talking about the latest technology in cars \u2013 many late model cars now use a CAN-Bus operating system that traditionally made it near impossible to install after market electronics into them. Now we can! Using the AVS translator module* it\u2019s possible to install the AVS A4 car alarm, GPS tracking or TXT pagers etc into CAN-Bus cars \u2026 must write about that soon but in the meantime just ask us if you\u2019d like to know more).<\/p>\n

So getting back to the AVS A4 car alarm, it of course includes dual immobilisers, the AVS data battery back-up siren and door\/bonnet\/boot protection. And we can add sensors from as little as $70.
