Well its that time again, time for the\u00a0V4 & Rotary SPL & Sounds Alive Sound Off South Island Champs Nov 2014 Update<\/strong>! This time round I wasn’t lucky enough to tag along due to other commitments, however from looking at the results, photos and hearing how the event went from Ashley ‘MADD BASS’ Burrell<\/strong> it looked like I missed out on an awesome day with the biggest turnout for a South Island dB Drag SPL & Sounds Alive Event <\/strong>yet!<\/p>\n

Last years event wasn’t the biggest event I have attended, but I enjoyed it due to the people, the sunny Nelson<\/strong> location and also the fact I got to demo most of the day. This year round it is good to see more newcomers entering the events and taking part of the fun that is dB Drag<\/strong>. In the end of the day it is about two things, having fun and seeing how many dB’s<\/strong> you can squeeze out of your Car Audio Setup<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

The highlights of the day as mentioned by Ashley<\/strong> were Tim Ryan<\/strong> getting a staggering 144db<\/strong> in his custom Honda and also the second coming of Paul Bowe’s<\/strong> Ford laser which always turns heads when its stealth install opens up to reveal the true nature of the car, but as Ashley<\/strong> has stressed to me all week the biggest highlight of the day was the massive support from all the locals turning up to take part in the Sound Off!<\/p>\n
