It was that time again, time for another V 4 & Rotary Sounds Alive Sound Off<\/strong>! And this year in Auckland<\/strong> it was another scorching day with a decent amount of competitors yet again. This time things were changed up a bit giving Ashley<\/strong> time to take more photos and enjoy the event, while Aaron<\/strong>, Deirdere<\/strong>,\u00a0David<\/strong>, Shane<\/strong>, Leon<\/strong>, Joe<\/strong> and myself took charge of the event!<\/p>\n

The morning started well with pretty much everybody arriving before 7:30AM, while everybody socialised in the car park I was setting up the dB Drag<\/strong> Trailer & marquee. Once this job was done we got everybody inside the gates and started going through the order of the day with the competitors. Now that was sorted it was time to get on with the event.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Since there was a lot of PB<\/strong>‘s (Personal Best) set on the day I will just go though some of the Highlights of the day.<\/p>\n

The biggest highlight of the day to myself was when Tom Mangu<\/strong> got an 156.11dB<\/strong> on music, if you haven’t heard his Mitsubishi Mirage<\/strong> (Or Mi-Rage as he calls it) go get a demo because this has to be the most intense car to sit in bass wise in NZ<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

Another car that shocked a few people was Stan Aldridge’s Smart Car<\/strong>, this little tiny car has so much cool factor that its almost hard to describe! Stan<\/strong> managed to get a 142.71dB<\/strong> out of one 10″ sub on music and no matter how you look at it, it is insanely loud for only one 10″ sub!<\/p>\n
