The car started off as a <strong>Toyota Vitz RS<\/strong> and soon had a cage fitted and rear stripped to accommodate a couple of wild animals in the spare time of the driver\/owner.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.abtec.co.nz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/IMG_68251.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-278\" title=\"IMG_6825\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abtec.co.nz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/IMG_68251.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"560\" height=\"373\" srcset=\"https:\/\/abtec.co.nz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/IMG_68251.jpg 800w, https:\/\/abtec.co.nz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/IMG_68251-300x199.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 560px) 100vw, 560px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>At some point someone made a decision to turn this little shopping trolley into a SPL car and what a great decision that was too! The real\u00a0excitement start at the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/carshows.co.nz\/gallery\/207\/17\" target=\"_blank\">V 4 &amp; Rotary North Island Jamboree Feilding<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0when Abtec3 managed to pull a amazing 149.9db! That might not seem very loud but I can tell you that doing so with 4 entry level 10&#8243; subs is a feat in itself!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.abtec.co.nz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/IMG_70971.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-282\" title=\"IMG_7097\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abtec.co.nz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/IMG_70971.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"560\" height=\"373\" srcset=\"https:\/\/abtec.co.nz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/IMG_70971.jpg 800w, https:\/\/abtec.co.nz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/IMG_70971-300x199.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 560px) 100vw, 560px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It still has a few bugs to be squashed, one being is that the amp is not enjoying having a 1\/2 Ohm load on it but I assure you that will be sorted in due time. On my final note I must say I am just amazed how the four entry level 10&#8243; subs (350w Rms) have handled two\u00a0official <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.dbdrag.co.nz\/results.html#rotajam2012\" target=\"_blank\">db Drag<\/a><\/strong> runs and are still running and sounding pretty good!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As a few of you out there know, we at Abtec NZ have been working on a little SPL car.
