I have owned a lot of ear-buds\/headphones over the years and have either lost or drowned them swimming in the ocean, this however isn’t about my forgetfulness or stupidity of not emptying my pockets before swimming but about the Digital Designs DXB-01<\/a><\/strong> Ear-buds or Ear-buDDs as Digital Designs<\/a><\/strong> have dubbed them.<\/p>\n

As I am bit of a Digital Designs<\/strong> Fan-boy so I couldn’t help myself and buy a set of these ear-buds when I found out Digital Designs<\/strong> made ear-buds, as soon as I got these bad-boys home I spent a good couple of hours using them listening to\u00a0various musical styles\/genre’s and was\u00a0amazed\u00a0by tones it produced.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

I have also\u00a0compared these with some Beats By Dre<\/strong> ear-buds\u00a0that my partner has and in comparison the DXB-01 <\/strong>produces a lot more bass and the fact that you can Tune the bass chamber on them is a bonus. I am in no way bagging the Beats By Dre<\/strong> ear-buds as they are an excellent ear-bud but in my opinion the DXB-01<\/strong> are a more suitable item since in a matter of seconds you can change the whole\u00a0characteristics of the bass produced with the supplied\u00a0tuning pads.<\/p>\n

Another feature that I liked was the fact they come with different rubber plugs suitable for different ear sizes and I am also aware that a lot of brands do this as well but I feel they are\u00a0necessary as everybody has different sized ear\u00a0canals.<\/p>\n

Overall these are some beautiful sounding ear-buds with the build quality that is expected from Digital Designs<\/strong>, priced very\u00a0competitively and also come in a very cool carry case to keep them in when they are not in use.<\/p>\n

I recommend these to anyone in the market for some new ear-buds no matter what type\/genre of music you listen to!<\/p>\n
