Pioneer FH-X755BT Product Review

As far double-dins go you would usually get two of these three things (Good Price/Quality/Lots of Options) which limits most people to buying a product that they would be half-happy with, Pioneer’s solution to this is the Pioneer FH-X755BT. Now you can have a quality unit with lots of options at a very good price point!

As with most Pioneer Head-Unit’s the display is simple yet effective with enough information displayed without becoming cluttered. There is the option of changing the illumination of the buttons/controls separate to the display to give you that custom feel, also with the controls based around the volume control makes it easy to command without needing to look at the unit while driving.

As to be expected the sound quality of the FH-X755BT is the usual Pioneer standard which is great, it has a 5-Band Equalizer with HPF/LPF (High Pass Filter/Low Pass Filter) so you can optimize your setup with crossover points for your speakers/sub-woofers.

The Bluetooth function on the FH-X755BT has the Parrot module installed which gives you peace of mind that the Bluetooth Hands-Free will seamlessly work to the best of its capability. Streaming music is made easy as well with Secure Simple Pairing (SSP), which means you can pair your Bluetooth devices quick and easy without the need of a pin-code or complicated settings.

My overall opinion on the Pioneer FH-X755BT is it makes a good factory radio replacement for somebody that wants that full double-din look without the need of a DVD player, the fact it has all the functions of a higher price point single-din head-unit so makes it very appealing.

On a last note the one thing that really stands out is the fact it not only works great with iDevices but also with Android ones too! This to me is a big selling/buying point as not everyone that sits in the passenger of my car uses a iPhone/iPod and you can also have two devices pared at the same time be it iPhone or android!
