NanoCam Pro Action Plus Pack Product Review

As a few people know, I am a big fan of Action Camera’s. Ok a big fan is most likely an understatement, I use them in slightly different ways than the norm (Strapping to my kids heads & using them to make bass flex video’s) but so far they are the only type of cameras that can put up with the abuse I put them through. However they are not the cheapest option when it comes to letting the kids use them, this is where the NanoCam Pro comes into its place.

At first glance you would swear you were looking at a Go-Pro, but at closer inspection you will notice it is quite small and in the case of Action Camera’s this is a good thing. The NanoCam Pro feels quite sturdy to the point that I wouldn’t be to worried if I dropped outside of its waterproof case, the buttons are easy to use and screen is more than enough to be able to see what is being recorded if need be.

The NanoCam Pro is a versatile Action Camera and especially in the “Action Plus Pack” which comes a good selection of mounts and extras. So far I have used the Suction Cup Mount, Head Strap Mount and the Waterproof Case and found the uses never ending…

So far I have made video’s (in the rain & sun) of the bass flexing ABTEC3 (Toyota Vitz), a couple of driving videos of being in Wellington traffic & letting my 3 year old daughter run around like the energetic mad child she is but with a camera stuck to her head. Obviously you could use the NanoCam Pro to film everything from Spirited Driving, Motorbike Racing, Skiing, Mountain Biking, Scuba Diving, Surfing or even climbing a mountain. I personally think that everybody could find a use for the NanoCam!

What’s in the box- When I unboxed the NanoCam Pro Plus Pack I was surprised with what is supplied considering the very affordable price, Action Cameras twice the price do not come with as many accessories this! Ok, so what comes with the NanoCam Pro Plus Pack?

• Car Charger (for charging in 12V cigarette lighter sockets)
• Handlebar mount (can be used for road biking, mountain biking, scooter riding etc.)

• Suction Cup Mount (for securely attaching to cars, boats, jetski’s etc)
• Flat adhesive mount (can be used for roller blading etc).

Pro’s/Cons:

Pro’s- Very affordable to the point that it wouldn’t bother me to much if my children somehow broke it. Very Robust. Relatively easy to use. Has a display on the back of the camera. Comes with a decent amount of accessories & has an abundance of uses!

Con’s– Only does up to 720P in video and it splits the videos into 2 minute segments.

My overview on the NanoCam Pro Action Plus Pack is that its an amazing priced Action Camera with features/accessories way above the $199 price point. Being simple to use means it is easily used by the technologically-challenged and most children would figure it out in a matter of minutes. I can easily say I would be happy purchasing one and most likely will do so to mount on my daughters bike/head so I don’t miss what fun she gets up to when I am working!

Excellent product at an even more so price!
