By now a lot of your are aware that we have now established ourselves at our NEW location at 49 Hutt Road, Petone, Lower Hutt. Some people still haven’t since I still get phone calls in regards to the old location. This is just a small update to let everybody know where we are now located and what the team has been up to of late!

At the Petone location we currently have four members of the Abtec team on location, each with their own specialities & skill-sets. So between the four of us I’m sure we can find a solution to your Home Audio & Car Audio/Security needs!
The four onsite team members are:
Ashley ‘MADD BASS’ Burrell: Ashley has been in the Car Audio Industry now for over 30+ years now and even after all these years he still has his passion for Car Audio. So much that not only does his BMW X5 have a Digital Designs Z12 in it but he has also installed a Digital Designs DD-1508-S4 into his Logitech Computer Speaker System. Ashley is also the type of person that doesn’t give up, so if anyone can make something happen it is defiantly him!
Darryl ‘Mr ABTEC’ Burrell: Darryl has been in the Car Audio Industry & apart of ABTEC for 20+ years and has one of the most broad knowledge bases of any person I have meet in this industry. I would consider Darryl to be our Hands-Free Car-Kit expert but has an extensive knowledge when it comes to installing all things Car Audio.
George ‘Chopper’ Kaczorowski: George has been in the Car Audio & Security Industry for 24+ years now and is considered our Car Alarm expert since he commonly found under dashes and other hidden compartments in cars doing his magic. George is also known as ‘Chopper’ since he used race off-road cars and every accident he was in he had to be chopped out of!
Lance ‘Captain Z’ Wilson: Lance has been apart of the ABTEC team for about 2 years now and comes from a very musical background being a musician since a young age. Lance is also a major member of the ABTEC SPL Team and has taken the company Toyota Vitz (ABTEC3) from doing 149.9dB to a whopping 155.3dB with guidance from Ashley, Lance’s true love is ‘Ground Pounding’ (Bass heavy musical builds) but also is known very subtle Sound Quality setups since he knows not everybody is after a earthshaking setup.
