As a lot you know the ABTEC Petone Showroom has been open for 2 years now, but to be honest it feels like it only opened a couple of months ago. So in celebration to this milestone (And the fact ABTEC just turned 22 years old!) I thought I’d write up a little update on how the shop has grown and been updated in the last year.
So much has happened over what feels like such a small amount of time that I better start somewhat from the beginning, so lets start with the Showroom! But before talk about the Showroom here are a few photos of outside of the building!
Ok so in the last couple of years the Showroom has gone from half empty room to one full of product and a plinth displaying pinnacle products and/or products that are on Sale, it currently is displaying a 62kg Subwoofer from a engine hoist and some Home Audio. I must say its not everyday that you need a hoist to lift a Subwoofer too! To give you some comparison below you will find how the Showroom was when we first moved in & and how full and vibrant it is now.

Also in the next 4 weeks we will be getting another Car Audio board just so we can demonstrate even more than we ever could before, giving you a more broad range of options when selecting your perfect Car Audio System! Not only are we broadening our showroom options but we already have broadened our Product range too, taking on Orion, Polk, Focal, Hertz, Parkmate just to mention a few. On that note, enjoy a few photos taken of our Showroom.
Not to forget the team that gets there hands dirty everyday installing all the Vehicle Security, Safety Equipment and Car Audio! The workshop has had a massive increase of workload so we have brought back a Car Audio & Security Veteran that has worked with ABTEC for quite some time, so it would be rude not to welcome Barry back to the team! So not to bore you with technical info here are some photos of the workshop
As the company has grown so has the direction of it too! It is common knowledge that we have been doing Home Audio for quite sometime however there are still a lot of people who are still are not aware so Ashley has decided to change the look of the Company Vehicles to match the Company Van (With its Home Audio Lounge sign writing). And it makes perfect sense as we are already known for Big Bass & Sound Quality in Car Audio so having NEW sign writing will not only let people know of the Home Audio Lounge while also freshening up the look of the Company Vehicles!
Well I have written time and again of the Home Audio Lounge so I am going to make this part nice and short… We now have the likes of Yamaha, Rotel, OPPO & several other big name Sound Quality Brands on board! So instead of listing what every one does, come down and have a look but most all! Ask to have a listen, bring down some vinyl, a CD or even your iPOD and EXPERIENCE our Home Audio Lounge!
