Coaxial loudspeakers represent a major design challenge due to their acoustic outputs critical nature. Being installed in an OEM placement often unfavourable to reproduction, our R&D experts made strides to achieve high performance, while promptly addressing the problem.

Hence, the two-way coaxial Hertz Cento CX570 features the new 24-millimetre (0.9") Tetolon dome tweeter that delivers a more musical and detailed sound compared to ones made from traditional plastic materials. Plus, the dispersion has been optimised for off-axis listening by adding in the SPP-M cone (Semi Pressed Paper-Mica) that ensures superior acoustic and damping characteristics across the board.

• Soft Tetolon fibre 24-millimetre dome tweeter cooled with ferrofluid, for extended and natural high frequencies
• RHFC (Rotary High Frequency Contour) directable tweeter for optimal off axis frequency response and dispersion on the listening point
• Adjustable high frequency system for perfect frequency response to any listening point
• Tweeter faceplate geometry optimised with FEM simulations (Finite Element Modelling), to provide an extremely linear frequency response in off-axis installations
• 25-millimetre woofer voice coil featuring an aluminium former to guarantee high excursion and power handling
• 5x7 semi-pressed paper cone SPP-M (Semi Pressed Paper-Mica) enhanced with Mica powder for an excellent balance between lightness and damping
• High-density flux ferrite magnet combined with low-carbon polar plates for reduced distortion at high power levels
• Compact and transparent three-spoke basket acoustically combined with a rubber magnet cover for total damping of spurious vibrations
• Ideal as a factory replacement for Mazda Atenza and Axela (most years)
